Making self-feeding slightly less messy

Just a quick Sunday post to share a trick I’ve found to help G feed himself without it all winding up on his shirt.

I’ve started nesting his food inside a slightly larger bowl.  Especially with prepackaged food containers that are filled right to the top (like applesauce cups).  It creates a “moat” that really cuts down on the dunked sleeves.
I’ve also found that deep, rounded measuring spoons are much easier for my little monster to keep food in than baby-specific spoons, while still being a similar size.
Hope these tricks work as well for you as they have for us (and that I can give you the Christmas gift of “slightly less laundry”)
