Slow Cooker Beef Burgandy

Today’s recipe is actually one I found on the Disney website.  Now, usually I don’t put a whole lot of stock in “the mouse”, but, this recipe sounded good enough, so I figured I’d give it a try.

  Here’s what you need:
1.5 lbs beef, cut into 1″ chunks
1 can cream of mushroom soup (condensed)
1 c. red wine
1 small onion, chopped
6 oz mushrooms, diced
1 oz dry onion soup mix (1 pkg)
2 cloves garlic, minced

Combine everything and cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Serve over noodles.
This recipe (unsurprisingly with the number of identical ingredients) is fairly similar to my Beef with Red Wine Sauce recipe.  It’s a little more savory, and the wine flavor is a little less prevalent.  Either way, a very good recipe, and worth trying out in your crock pot!
FYI Pinners who are looking for more things to make in your slow cookers, I’ve broken my recipe board out and have a new board just for you with all crockpot recipes!
